TIVPOTEN contains Teneligliptin, an oral antidiabetic medication used in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It belongs to a class of drugs called DPP-4 inhibitors (Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4 inhibitors), which help improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes, especially when lifestyle changes like diet and exercise alone are not sufficient.Teneligliptin works by increasing the levels of natural substances called incretins, which help to control blood sugar by increasing insulin release after meals and decreasing the amount of sugar produced by the liver.
