RAZOver-S 1.5GM is a combination antibiotic injection containing Cefoperazone and Sulbactam. It is used to treat a broad range of bacterial infections affecting the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, abdomen, bones, joints, and bloodstream. This combination is especially useful in treating infections caused by bacteria that produce beta-lactamase enzymes, which usually make them resistant to standard antibiotics.Cefoperazone is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the death of the bacteria. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents the breakdown of Cefoperazone by resistant bacteria, thereby enhancing its antibacterial action.
RAZOver-S 1.5GM is administered intravenously or intramuscularly under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
