Libocci-M is a combination medication containing Levocetirizine and Montelukast, used for the effective relief of allergy-related symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, watery eyes, and itching. It is commonly prescribed for allergic rhinitis, hay fever, and seasonal allergies.Levocetirizine is a modern antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, a chemical released during allergic reactions. This helps control symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and itchy or watery eyes. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks leukotrienes—another group of chemicals responsible for airway inflammation, swelling, and mucus production. Libocci-M is typically taken once daily, preferably in the evening, with or without food. It is well tolerated and causes minimal drowsiness compared to older antihistamines.
