FLUzith-250 contains Azithromycin 250 mg, a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It is particularly effective against infections of the respiratory tract, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and sinusitis, as well as skin and soft tissue infections, ear infections, and some sexually transmitted diseases like chlamydia.Azithromycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby preventing the bacteria from growing and multiplying. This bacteriostatic action helps the immune system eliminate the infection more efficiently.
