ANDYmol-Plus is a combination medicine primarily used for the treatment and symptomatic relief of abdominal pain caused by smooth muscle spasms. It is especially effective in conditions involving obstruction or inflammation in the urinary tract, bile ducts, or intestines, where muscle cramping leads to sharp or colicky pain. It is also beneficial in managing dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation) by relaxing the uterine muscles and reducing menstrual cramps.The formulation typically includes Camylofin Dihydrochloride, a smooth muscle relaxant (antispasmodic), and Paracetamol, a widely used analgesic and antipyretic. Camylofin works by inhibiting certain chemical messengers in the body that cause muscle contractions, thereby reducing spasms in the gastrointestinal and genitourinary systems. Paracetamol complements this action by lowering fever and relieving pain without causing gastric irritation, making the combination both effective and gentle on the stomach.
